Tiddly Inks 'Use a Wryn'

Hello!

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend and I hope everyone in the UK has enjoyed our extra day off!

I finally had the chance to mow the lawn this weekend because it's been such horrible weather recently I hadn't had the chance before. At one point I didn't think we had an extension lead so almost didn't get to do it but finally found it on the third search of the house under the workbench in the basement. Ninjas could have hidden in the garden the grass was so long so it was good to finally do although the strimmer's gone because it started to smoke after about ten seconds so we've still got grassy edges, but never mind, it looks a lot better than it did!

Anywho, a quick challenge post today because the internet hasn't been working very well since this morning and just when I'm about to go to bed it decides to work!

This weeks challenge over at Tiddly Inks is 'Use a Wryn' and I've chosen to use 'Sweet Dreams Wryn' and she is absolutely gorgeous! I love this image because I love reading and I love collecting books so I had to use this one.

So, here's the little bookmark I made:

I wanted to use a quote on the back of the bookmark and his is my one of my favourite quotes about reading, from the play, 'The History Boys' by Alan Bennett:
I've coloured Wryn with Blush, Rose Pink, Cool Grey 2, Mustard, Pumpkin and Cool Aqua Promarkers, the papers are Memorandum from lilybeedesign, the sentiments are computer printed in American Typewriter and the little glasses are Wingdings font.

The books backdrop is made up off 'A Guide to Tolkien' by David Day, 'Robinson Crusoe' by Daniel Defoe', 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak, 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' and 'Harry Potter and the Chamber if Secrets' by J.K. Rowling, 'The REtunr of the King' by J.R.R. Tolkien, 'A Feast of Crows' by George R.R. Martin and she's stood on 'Through the Looking Glass' by Lewis Carroll.

Anywho, off to bed now! Hope you like the bookmark!
